12 days till Christmas break!

Okay kids! The countdown has begun!
Remember, tomorrow we have basketball practice right after church. Bring $2.00 for lunch. After practice, we will set up a few tables and then go right to practice for the Christmas program. Basically, you will be at church from 9:15 until 3:30. Almost a full school-day!

Monday-basketball practice for the girls at 5:00, boys at 6:30
History test
Tuesday-basketball practice for the boys at 7:00
Wednesday-chapel, girls practice after school, PTL meal for Advent and church
Thursday-science test and basketball game vs St. Pat's at 5:00
Friday-spelling test

I have a great idea for your calendars. Instead of bringing a picture, you can make a picture. This can be a word art picture for your family name or something that you actually design and draw yourselves. This will take the pressure off of finding a picture and bringing it. Of course, if you still want to bring a picture, that will be fine too. Please bring or have your pictures ready by this Friday!

I hope you are all having a great weekend! I'm sure most of you went to Come Home For Christmas. Not me, I stayed home where it was nice and warm and flipped the tv between the Big XII game, You've Got Mail and Sat. Night Life-Best of Will Farrell.

See you at church!

Back to school, Back to school

Back to school tomorrow, ready or not! Hopefully you are ready because we have lots to cover in the 17 days until Christmas vacation.
We start basketball games this week. Boys, remember you have practice Tuesday night this week. Girls, we will practice after school on Wednesday like always. We play at Partridge at 3:00 on Thursday and will need drivers. We will leave school around 1:45.

We will be doing the family calendars for your parent Christmas gifts again this year. You need to get a list of birthdays, anniversaries, and any other dates that would be important to your family. You will also need a picture to use. This can be a family picture, a picture of the kids, a scenery picture, whatever you want to use.

I can't wait to see you all tomorrow when you can wait on my hand and foot!

Oklahoma City trip

To my loving, adoring, intelligent students!

It's been a little over a week since our trip to OKC. We had a fabulous time and you were all awesome! Tell me what you thought of our trip. Leave me a note in the comments. Let me know what was the best thing about the trip. What did you learn? What happened that you didn't expect? If we went again, what would you change?
Was your favorite thing watching the lions at the zoo?

Maybe it was the treehouse at the Kirkpatrick Center?
Or was it being at the National Memorial?

Let me know!
Love,
Your loving, adoring, intelligent teacher
